great gear for sale in RFF classifieds

I'm selling because I'm adopting a less is more strategy and shooting for less higher quality items.
I just need someone to buy my elmarit 28/2.8, If I drop the price to 999 do you think it would sell?

Anyone having an opinion about this! I have not been around long enought to have any firm opinion but my feeling is that there is more gear being sold now than before. My guess would be that people feel more comfortable buying/selling here than on E-bay etc but that´s only a guess.

I haven't been here long either but after joining in June had a Fed 3 and Bessa R in my possesion by the end of July. It is nice to deal with people who dont prefice their adds with "I dont know anything about cameras...but this is the best deal so far this century..!" My two transactions so far have been very painless. I also like the comments section at the bottom of the adds, if something is not right you guys (and gals) say so, I think this tends to make sellers and buyers more honest...maybe?

My only gripe...up until May I was ignorantly happy, then I found out I have this problem called GAS....if life wasn't hard enough before now I have an addiction whose only cure is to be more addicted :D

I just wish I'd seen your 90mm elmarit before I laid out $275 for one at KEH...

<shameless plug>
I've just reduced the price on all my FSU gear to pay for the elmarit.

Ugh! I've been considering getting a Ricoh GR-D for a long time, but told myself I'd never find a used one at a good price so I made my peace with it. Then one comes up in the classifieds. And within Canada too! Oy!

the grd is a great little camera.
lots of good features if you like street shooting.

Hmm.. would an Ikonta 6x6 generate any interest here? I'm thinking of putting mine on the classifieds. I got it from Juergen Kreckel and it is in practically the same shape as I when I got it. I'm only hesitating to go to the classifieds as I'm not sure what to ask and I don't have a digital camera to upload pictures.

I'm guilty of having sold my Nikon F3/T and 35/1.4 combo locally without having offered it here. It was just quicker and easier and I didn't have to come up with a picture. Went for $550, so you know I'll make you a good deal :).

Hey Joe, there's a nice CV 75 at MacBain camera. There's a sweet CV 28mm f1.9 too!

I get a bit of a gear thrill looking at the classifieds here. This whole flickr rff business is very addictive for me. I need to stay away for a while. I'm not sure what fascination it is sparking in me.

I have a great kit now and just want to have fun shooting with it...

when did you see the lenses?
i went today and they had a 90/3.5 going for 419. cdn.

Uh oh, I hope I didn't steer you wrong. Honestly, the German goodies in that case are what always fixes my attention. I may have gotten it wrong. Sorry to waste your time :(. Did you find out the story about the adapters?

forgot to ask about the adapters but my guess is that with only one screw mount lens the ltm adapters are not a big seller ;).

did you notice that all their film stock now resides inside a small glass counter and one refridgerator?

I had quite an interesting conversation with some of the staff about all of the professional grade films there. I'm glad that it is still a viable thing for them to support. I hear that a Vistek store is opening just down the street.

I have unloaded in the RFF Classified a CLA'd Contax IIIa today. I feel like saying: "Buy It", but I won't.:D THere is also a great Menopta 53mm/1.8 lens included. (hand picked by Brian)
