Great repair experience!!!

For those of you with "classic" SLRs I just had a great experience with John Titterington.

A gentleman and great person to do business with. I purchased a lens and SRT 102 from John, then decided to have my two old beaten up SRTs serviced by him. Communication was great, service was fast and the results are great. His basic price for overhauling an SRT is $75 which I think is very reasonable. This service is a disassembly, cleaning, repair and recalibration of the camera, not a simple cleaning and change of the seals.

Good prices! Pity he doesn't sell Konica SLRs though. I might be tempted by one of those. 🙂

I have two cameras from John, an Olympus OM-1 and a Canon A-1. I have had the same positive experience. I can recommend him for those brands, too. Just ask about the OM's first, as parts for some, like the OM-2sp and OM-4 may be more difficult to come by.
