Here in the States Foster's comes from Canada. The beer in the blue can indeed tastes like fizzy piss. However, the bitter in the green can is quite good, especially if its not too cold. The British are quite correct IMHO in drinking bitter cool, but not cold. American lager should be drunk cold, however.

Ooooh, we've got a bit of a problem with Manolo here... 😉 Paddy's a bit too raw for me, but Pherdi, would I order a pint of Jameson? I don't think so - couldn't afford it. Not averse to having a small one with a pint though. 🙂 Jameson or Black Bush will do very nicely thanks! 😀

From the irish malts, i prefer Jameson and Bushmills (they are very smooth and taste great), and on the other hand, Kilkenny. Guinness is fine but can't have more than 2 pints - it makes me feel like exploding soon 🙁

This is nearly rising to the level of intentional infliction of emotional distress. There is nothing more that I would like than a good ale. . . but I just can't. Unfortunately, in spite of my mixed Scottish, German, and Hispanic heritage, my anti-drinking genes kicked in at around age 25. One beer, or one sip of wine, and I'm hugging porcelain the next day.
All this talk still triggers memories of wonderful tastes and scents and makes my mouth water. I'll just go shut my office door and cry, just not in a beer 🙂

Pilsner Urquelle is one of my favourites - or I should say was, as it suddenly jumped in price, here, when the distributor changed.
But the beer I love most is Coopers Sparkling Ale (that's right, Akalai, it's gotta be the red label!).
Of course, the best beer is the current one.
