Groan!!! Can't find Portra 400 for Christmas...

Can't believe it...I drove 100 miles back and forth to the four best photography stores in Atlanta and NO ONE has any Portra 400 in 35mm!!!

This is the first year I will shoot the family Christmas get-together without digital as I sold the last Nikon DSLR months ago. Planned on shooting film with Portra 400....:bang:

Is Atlanta an odd market area or is that film THAT hard to find?😡

Miami isn't any better - The large pro store here has a really minimal supply of film in their cooler. They were out of Provia 400 some months back so I ordered from B&H.

Freestyle photo supplies has some listed on line. The 400 is listed as low stock and to call their 1-800 number

btw, I love the Porta 160 as well.

That's why you want to plan ahead and stock up whenever you have a chance 🙂. You can probably still shoot Portra 160 and push one stop.

I ordered some from freestyle last week, did not notice they were low on stock. Must be going fast.
