I happen to understand that every country has drawbacks but most are easier to reconcile than some **** that happens in America.
Other countries get better because even though they'd like to they don't ignore their problems so much. America gets worse because it's a badge of pride to be ignorant here.
This country started going backwards socially in the 80s and never stopped. What's the point of having all this money if living here sucks?

When will anyone learn that posting a sign that says "no guns allowed" means absolutely nothing to those intent on carnage?
You may feel safer protected by a sign, I feel better knowing that someone may have a concealed carry permit that will protect me when the terrorist or nut case goes on a shooting rampage.
I can give no logical reason why cameras may be prohibited, probably goes back to when people used flashes.

#3 - Through windows in a private homes.
#4 - Beaches.
Are they real enough.
Would you or anybody think these examples are innocent use of a camera?
If any pervert took compromising photos of any member of my family, I will be going postal big time, against that person.

Not from a socialist perspective. He's a mildly anarchic and somewhat repetitious product of the society in which he grew up. Socialist? Hardly. Also, what's actually wrong with socialism? Quite a lot of European countries have rather high standards of living thanks to some degree of socialism.
No, taking pictures in beaches isn't a real example of 'cameras in the wrong hands'. How could it be? Of course you can take unflattering pictures (which is a matter of common decency) -- but you can do that anywhere. But if you have a problem with being photographed on the beach -- well, it's your problem.
To a considerable extent, the same thing applies to locker rooms and toilets. You may regard it as bad taste. Fine. But how big a problem is it? How many toilet pictures are there? In fact, what's the actual problem with a toilet? We all use them. I mean, I am told that there are people who get off on women's shoes, or even on pictures of them. Are we supposed to take pictures that cut everyone off at the ankles because there are .000001% of people who might be sexually aroused?
Quite honestly, I'd much prefer being photographed having a pee to being shot. Which would you prefer?

Eh? Who's photographing genitalia? You're the one who appears to be obsessed with them. I can't get as excited about all this as you can.
As for socialism, we're doing pretty well, actually, even by the standards of free-market fundamentalism. A euro is currently worth $1.36, as against $0.95 a year or so after the euro came in. In other words, the market thinks the Eurozone is doing better than the USA. Or at least, that it's not doing as badly.
Or if you prefer infant mortality figures, a good rough-and-ready measure of a country's health care system: France 3.29, USA 6.06 (deaths before the age of one year, per 1000 live births). Greece, incidentally, is 5.0. Those are CIA figures: https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/rankorder/2091rank.html.
What criteria would you like to use?
Yes, it's a lot harder to get a pistol permit here than in the USA (to return to the topic of the thread), but once again, I can't get very excited about that. Permits for hunting guns require attendance at a course, and registration, but are easy to get: there are plenty of hunters where I live.

Sorry, you're believing what you want to believe, and twisting the facts to suit your world picture. A Briton of 100 years ago would have been equally gung-ho about the pound sterling -- which was then about $4.80, as I recall.
