I love my GX, but I would love it even more if it had an exposure lock. Any way to DIY a lock holding the button halfway down? Or even a dedicated button? That would work great for me.
as far as I know, GX have a "realtime" metering system, but otl (on the top of lens). so you don't know the speed value will be until you press the shutter. it will count (and integrate) light and when it's enough it will close the curtains/leaf shutter.
The instruction manual states that you can increase or decrease exposure by adjusting the ASA settings on the lens body. Of course since the GX doesn't have an indicator for shutter speed, it's hard to figure out exactly how much or which way the adjustment should be made.
