Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper

Hello,
Which online printing services would you recommend that use Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper or similar paper. In other words, good satin or mat finish, archival qualities etc.
I am looking for a place to upload my digital file (scan from black and white negative) and have it printed 16x20 and shipped print back to me.
Don't have an option of hand printing this size at the moment.

I tried before:
AdoramaPix
McKenna Pro
Mpix

All decent places but none have the Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper or Ilford Gold Fibre Silk or something similar.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Those papers are very hard to print on and often require adjusting the platen gap of the printer. I suspect you will have to use a custom lab, not a high volume place.

Photo Rag was my primary paper for my gallery prints for several years till the price went through the room. I printed from 24 rolls in my Epson printer. No problems printing with the 308 gm weight. No additional adjustments either. I used the mat surface in the natural color. Lovely paper and no problems with it at all. I've since gone to Epson hot press natural which I like equally and possibly a little better. It has a little more snap to the image.

I don't know if you'll find anyone outside of a custom lab using it due to the cost.

So I found couple places at reasonable cost that may work for my needs. I tought I'd share in case others already ahve experience with them.

Also my favorite for years. And I also found an alternative because of the HPR price. I am now using Hawk Mountain Condor Brite White which I like even more than HPR although I never tried the HPR with optical brighteners.

OP: you can find a number of custom printers who will allow you to select whatever paper you want. Of course their pricing is no where near as low as the consumer printers you mentioned.

It is not so much what they are called but what they charge for a custom print. Now you get what you pay for, like a proof you have to sign and return before they make the final print. They are a far cry from the "you take what they give you" places you mentioned.

If all you need is a few exibition size prints, it may be a better option than try cheaper places and adjust and try again and so forth... Maybe.
