Halina 35X. One of the All-Time Worst?

The lens comes apart from the front.

The front part contains the diaphragm. I found when I reassembled the thing that the grease I used on the focus helical was too light - it uses a heavy grease to give some feel to the focusing.

The rear part contains the shutter, which is uncomplicated. As I posted upthread, the blades would open slightly when I cocked the shutter, and I couldn't find how to correct this.

Ah, why am I not surprised to see it is you who has done one of these!

@raybob You'll find the grease is approximately the consistency of road tar, to mask how much slack there is in the helicoid.

The shutters are different between the version that needs to be cocked, as John has here, and that which cocks when you wind the film. I've not found photos of the other online - which is why I have one in bits and one waiting to be used as a pattern!
