Contax TLA 20 - not TLA 200 - on G1 and Nikon SB 20 on Hexar AF.

I had an official Contax springy cable which allowed the 140 to work like the Gilden set up you describe. Then it broke. So this option exists, in theory. I wonder if there are generic cables that would also work?

How about wireless? I have a CTR-301P wireless flash trigger coming in the mail...really can't lose on the price with those unless it doesn't work at all. I will definitely give it a shot with my TLA200.

Wireless wouldn't work for me, I'd have to hold the camera in hand, set up the flash, and then press the trigger with camera in hand. Not really that spontaneous.. anyone got any ideas about the generic springy cable? Or a Contax official springy cable, that's fine too

I use a Nikon SC17 offshoe cord with a Contax TLA 140 in manual mode and it works fine.
