Anyone who is interested in the preservation of slides and film, you have to read this 30 page document produced by the Wilhelm Research. It talks about what the Simthsonian Institute Photographic Services does in preserving their photos, TimeLife, Magnum Photos & major magazines such as Sports Illustrated, and other important institutions. It discusses the differences and characteristics of Fujichrome, Kodachrome and Agfachrome and the preservation procedures.
