Handy ebay suede lens pouches...

I prefer the thick foam ones w/ a drawstring and snap fastener for a belt loop that I can get for about $6 here in Korea. They come in several differant sizes/ lengths. I don't know if they are available in "the rest of the world." Here's the link: http://www.arnuvo.com/index.php?sal...oods_view&ctpose=ABC&ctno=338&page=2&otype=6&. Their email is: anbhan@arnuvo.com. Mr. An can understand/ write English

They also sell some fine leather handstraps, etc. that are copies of but are much cheaper (price) than Artisan/ Artist stuff on the same website.

No connection/ commission whatsoever!

Bill, those look really good.. but I can't tell anything about them from the website, like what they'll hold.. what do you use yours for.. lenses or bodies?

I've only used them for lenses. They are barrel-shaped and well-made.

I've actually tried to find some small bags. Those suede ones on ebay look nice, but all the way from the UK?
I'm having a hard time finding the right kind of bag from domestic sellers.

Try the bags that leicagoodies.com sells. They are not cheap but they are wonderful. And they come with a string you can sling over your shoulder, in addition to having a drawstring that snugly closes the bag around the lens. Very soft. You can put lenses without covers in them.

Regards,
Ira

The lens pouches that leicagoodies sells is a type of chalk bag used in rock climbing... Your local outdoor/camping store might have something similar that would work?
