I had the great opportunity to visit Joe on the weekend for a wee bit of coffe and a walk around his home turf. Here's a few things we saw...

Cheers,

It's always fun to shoot with someone. May be NY'ers can get together some day soon?

About the only thing I can reveal without breaking the binding confidentiality agreement is that he wakes up early on the weekends to go for coffee. Here's a man with a slavish devotion to coffee.

Cheers,

Russ (who likes to sleep in)

hooray for the door pics! It's an intimate look into Joe's neck of woods.

More pics of bricks withiin Joe's vicinity please!

If you want to know about Joe, ask! I never signed one of those "oath of confidentiality" papers, so I can tell you whatever I like. However, my memory is a little hazy... though the picture may be sharpened by a donation to my PayPal account! 😀

I just realised that the picture I linked to goes nicely with the title of the thread: "Hanging out with Joe". In case you're wondering, that's Joe demonstrating his "how not to use a wrist strap" technique. I believe it was just that week he had had a wrist strap come apart, causing one of his pristine (can I use that word?) Canon Ps to crash to the floor.

True, he's more svelte and buffed up than that image but he's still a "cranky old phart". 😀

if you know the south side, whyte ave, 'the friendly nest' every saturday morning from about 7:45 to maybe 10 or 10:30, we meet for coffee and breakfast.

we could do a walkabout after on the avenue and the market or even the back alleys...😉

Hmm! This could well be doable some week in the future! The current issue is that I'm still working on the whole driver's license thing (have some mad anxiety issues with that level of stress) but at the current rate of progress, it'll be a week or two, I'd guess. (I think I'm better at it than I give myself credit for, but we'll see!)

Fortunately, it's not that far away!
