Today is special...

I will celebrate with my Nikon! And for grins, my only Made in America camera, the CiroFlex.

My only regret is not being able to get out and shoot the parade today or fireworks tonight.

Post your photos if you are able to shoot today!😎

It is stunning that no one much ever posts on a Holiday Greeting.

Our youngest granddaughter had gym recital. While awaiting for the program, I realized I sat in the front row directly in front of the flag and I thought it was appropriate for this significant holiday.

Happy Birthday to all of us!

As a side note, we stopped at a local convenience store while riding the Harley, a few years ago. Of course, I did not have a camera at the time.

I went inside and bought my bride a cold soda as the 4th of July is always so hot! I walked outside to be greeted by a 20-something female walking toward the door clad only in a bikini and sandals. The bikini had a most revealing cut and a most patriotic red, white and blue American flag design.😱

My bride and I smiled at each other and when another patron walked outside, he held the door open for her and smiled, saying, "God Bless America!"

We laughed, thinking how much he was enjoying a birthday celebration!😀

Feest! (Party)

Happy 240th. We will be 435 years on 26 July, but we don't really celebrate this then, we'll have a massive party on 27 April however. Feel free to visit The Netherlands then. I should visit the US one day on Independence day....

Happy Birthday America

Happy Birthday America

We celebrated the 4th of July yesterday in Australia. We get there before you.
I lived in Baltimore for 6 years so celebrated many 4ths.
This year we will be at the Nikon Convention at Philadelphia in September.
Anyone else going?

How strange, Americans celebrating a successful terrorist war. What message does it send terrorists and would be terrorists all over the world?

Just asking from the British viewpoint...

Regards, David

Happy birthday indeed. Shall we call it (A)M240?
