... or the daily traps of working close to two classic camera stores.
My signature said it well and I knew I had it coming... so today I set out to take photos during my lunch break with the Contax-IIIa and the 85/2 Jupiter-9. I did take a few shots and then started strolling slowly back to work. I told myself while in front of the FotoSkoda shop (yes, I work in a dangerous area for the purse!) "why not check if the have a 85mm VF ?"
I enter, and no ... no 85 VF. I go in the Zeiss collectible exposition shelf and spot ... a 28/8 Tessar. Interesting price, nice condition... I check it out, notice its not coupled but hey, why not fetch it. So here we go, I'm now owner of a nifty Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar. It seems to be a prewar uncoated version, the body is silver, with s/n 2391570.
I'll see how it performs and once I get my CV 21/4 I will decide what do to with it 😉
Be well all 😀
