Well, I finally managed to get some results from a variety of equipment I acquired in the last few months. I am so proud!!! 😀 I got back into 35mm photography after a near failure of a wedding shoot (shot as a friend, not prof photog) with my Mamiya and no flash. After discussion on this board, I settled for a M4 and Zeiss Sonnar. Here are some results:

Leica M4, Zeiss Sonnar, shot at f1.5, BW400CN film.

My other piece of equipment was the close up adapter for the Mamiya 7 80mm lens. I was originally planning on selling this lens and going for a 50mm, but with these results.... Looks like I'm keeping this kit forever!!!

Mamiya 7ii, 80mm lens + close up adapter, Neopan 400, f4

I also liked the results from the 150mm lens, but I rarely use it so it must go.

Mamiya 7ii, 150mm, Neopan 400, f4.5?

I'm in the process of scanning some of the Velvia shots as well. It is sooooo nice to be back into film. I miss the ease of use of the RD-1, but the file quality is nowhere near the Mamiya 7 or a good scan of 35mm film.

Utterly delightful photographs. Absolutely fantastic, I LOVE them!

Maybe I shouldn't overlook XP2 or BW400CN having seen these... Regardless, it's much more about the way you've shot these, I think they're just fab.

Thanks for sharing, really made my afternoon at work a bit more bearable 🙂 (on a break!)

Thank you for the kind comments. I always bring my cameras to family events. Every one is so used to me with cameras that they act very natural and make taking good photos much easier.

Oh my gash. You are not helping my resistance towards Mamiya 7 GAS! Not helping at all, Pavel!!

Resistance is futile. I actually sold my first Mamiya 7... The pain of parting was however so great that I had to come right back. This time though I got the updated 7ii. Multi-exposure capability is really cool.

great work, really like the ones with the close up kit, I need to get one.
