Hardcore used Zeiss ikon (pics)

No, not really, my 25 is as good as it gets 😀 but one day I might want to sell it and I don`t want to have problems 🙂 anyhow if it is manufacturing error I better off sending it, no? 🙂

Looks to me like you have an electrical problem in your camera. That would be what is causing the battery drain and the corrosion. A shame too because the camera should not have that type pf corrosion.
 
Okey, I just spoke with zeiss support on the phone, very very pleasent service, very possitive and helpfull, anyhow I told him about bubbles, he said it has to be checked it is a production line error or something later has happened, also told him about 35mm biogon and 50mm plannar focus wobble problem, and he said to send it over too...
 
Actually Glenn's thought about electrical problem makes a lot of sense. Could be some design flaw that exhibited only in warm humid climate of India 🙂
 
By returning your camera and lenses to Zeiss, you are doing Zeiss a favor, and all future ZI buyers a favor too. It is very helpful to manufacturers to see examples such as yours, so they can make changes to procedures and material suppliers.
Zeiss is probably very sensitive to the excessive wear shown in your photos of the leather like covering- with the history of the 'Zeiss Bumps'.

Perhaps they need to simulate conditions in India for their future 'torture test'?
Real world use is difficult to simulate in a speeded up way, so I think Zeiss will be glad that you have in effect done some valuable work for them.
 
I will do best I can and hopefully all of my lenses and zeiss ikon itself will be repaired or replaced, from 5 productes of zeiss 4 of them have problem...

I read an article somewhere that claimed camera bags and lens cases breed and transfer mold. I never store my stuff in a closed bags/cases. Fungus likes cloth/leather much more than it likes glass and glass coatings. It is better to let air circulate. Moving air can carry the fugal spores away. In a closed in bag/case the spores can settle inside a lens.
