Anyone recently purchased Harvey's Panthermic 777 from Bluegrass?
I am awaiting an email from them regarding supply. It is my understanding that they were considering making more just recently.

I bought some of the "new" formula 777 and replenisher from them about 6-8 months ago. Delivery was quick, (I am close in Ohio) but I seem to remember that they wanted a check, not a credit card.
The new stuff works well, seems the same as the old version to me.

Great! Can't wait to hear back... What is the minimum they sell? I don't think I can use 5 gallons!

I bought 4 or 5 packets of each, but I think they will sell smaller amounts. If not, I bet you could sell the extra packets here quite easily.

Ah, yes, got an email from Ellen at Bluegrass today!
Packets to make 1 gallon are now available for $19 each...
So... I am ordering two packets to try out on some recently exposed Double X and Acros 100 film.

Ahhhhh... Well, it looks like I lost my development times recommendations for Harvey's.
Anyone have suggestions on best development times since the Massive Development Chart does not appear to have it either?

Take a new roll, make 6 exposures, and print/scan results.
6 exposures = 12"
Now put the chart on your darkroom wall.
Does 777 need to be aged to stabilse.

Read carefully, especially about not mixing a fresh batch and agitation.
Ed is super good long time respected photog.

I can't say I personally know Fred De Van, but I had some incredibly interesting give-and-take with him, many times on the Kiev/Delphi forum. Quite an interesting fellow. Master Photgrapher/LIFE Magazine staffer/Road&Track Art Director/New York Corporate Pro during the Golden Years of Photography. We shared a mutual love for the Minolta motorized SR-M.
