In the past, my favorite repair guy has always been prompt and communicative, but I've sent him a couple of things several weeks back, and haven't heard a thing. Package tracking confirms delivery, but not a peep from Youxin, even after a couple of inquiring emails.
Did I miss some news? I hope everything is okay with him.

Hmm.. He repaired a lens for me within a day. Mailed the lens to him Monday and got it back in my hands by friday. I guess it depends on how complicated the job is. This was 2 months ago. Great great guy to deal with

I heard from him last week, he's slammed as the other poster said.
He's now running a 3 month schedule for repairs.

That's about the turn-around time I got on the Leica IIIa and IIIf that I sent to him a year and a half ago. I sent them one at a time and each one took two to three months.

He's got lots of work from us, among others... He's totally responsive, though: I received several emails from him last week, as from Stephen Tedesco: Youxin is full of work, so I understood he's collaborating with Stephen (from NY area), who meets Youxin every few days in Boston area because work's now more than Youxin can handle alone... Youxin recommended me Stephen also for some other shopping related services I needed, and I talked with Stephen two or three times, and he seemed a great guy, precise and collaborative as Youxin has always been...

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to have him do the MP finder upgrade on my M6 but I'll hold off until he is less busy. (It's not a critical repair)

A couple of years ago, when he fixed the rangefinder in my newly acquired M4, he also told me to mark the box with the word "Rush." That way he'd know it was a quick repair. I sent the camera on a Monday and it returned on a Friday, IIRC.

Other than that, I admire that he can reply to messages within the day. Ordinarily, he's very busy, so I'm not surprised...
