Has anyone used a Zhou case on it yet?

I have a Zhou case, I used to use extra large surgical gloves and have no problems using the buttons with my thumb. The LCD framing is fine, as is the fit with the GGS 3" protector on. I don't often use MF but have had no problems with it and the aperture ring. Mine is any early Zhou case and the cutouts for the buttons are slightly out of alignment but this hasn't been a problem and probably gives better protection.

Good to know, so if ordered new Mr. Zhou has slightly adjusted the cutouts for the buttons?

I don't presently have a screen protector on there (I typically don't ever use one, but I have felt compelled to protect everything I can on this camera for some reason)

I'll look into ordering one of the Zhou cases then, now to decide on dark brown or all black.. Hmmm

I wound up ordering the dark brown case a few days ago. I'm hoping it'll be the updated version with improved cutouts. I have a screw on lens-hood presently, but I think I'm going to ditch it and just get a slim UV filter and not use a hood at all.

I'll post pictures of the case once mine arrives :)

I've had my dark brown case for a couple weeks now and while its not perfect, it has made my X100 much more enjoyable for ME to shoot with.

Some of the buttons are a little difficult to get to (AF mode switch, AEL/AFL button, Playback), and the top portion of the screen is covered.

However, for me and my large hands, the improved grip alone is worth it. The leather is high quality and the case is well made (aside from the cutout discrepancies). Overall the camera is a lot easier to grip and hold on to, as well as having most everything well protected. I'm happy with the case personally.
