Has anyone used Newegg to purchase anything?

Ah, the joys of being an atheist (whose ancestors come from Germany and Italy), life is so much easier this way.

There are tons of stories about company reps visiting forums, leaving reviews on amazon for their products and a whole slew of other things. That's why you've got us to set you straight, right?

Simple, your white ango saxon protest self, with your cunning and vast knowledge of why reviews online are all rigged by businesses, didn't bother to pick up on something a little bit of reading comprehension would:

Instead of reading explaining why reviews are all rigged, just use some common sense, you'll quickly be able to figure you that you're comparing apples and oranges.

I'm on Lond Island and I love it when it ships from Jersey. I still don't pay tax on it and I get it in 2 days every time. Sometimes overnight if it gets out quick in the morning.
 
I used Newegg many times to buy computer accessories and household electronics (memory, internal hard drive, software, coffee maker) and have only positive experiences. I will buy from them again with absolutely no hesitation.

The only problem I had later, and I don't think it had anything to do with Newegg, was someone used the same credit card to purchase $1500 worth of stuff from Newegg...the bank took care of it, I didn't have to do anything...

Another big thumbs up for Newegg. I've been ordering from them for years. No problems whatsoever. But I actually order less from them these days because we're both in the same state.

I buy from them all the time & have had no worries.

Their most direct competitor, TigerDirect.com, is another story entirely.
 
Right, viridari; I've had some bad experiences with TigerDirect, among some good, but I won't order from them any more as they refuse to ship to my PMB mailbox (not a PO Box).

NewEgg I've been very satisfied with over the years, very reliable outfit.
 
I've bought things off and on for years. I've never had a problem. They're reputable -- and they don't play games with your credit card. I have no problem recommending them.
 
I've got all sorts of computer parts from them, my geforce gt 220, a western digital caviar, OCZ ram, all sorts of case fans etc.
The most impressive thing about them is their return policy. if something is wrong, or if you just dont' want it anymore it is realy realy easy to send back and get a refund. I ordered a 1tb hitachi from them about a year ago, it ended up being DOA, I sent it back and got another one (a working one), that same week. great service.

If you're skeptical of them, TigerDirect is always a good alternative.
 
Have used the site at least a dozen times. Flash memory. external hard drive and a variety of other computer components.
Extremely fast shipping. Never one problem for me.
