I've used quite a few hasselblads, but now I'm finally piecing mine together. I got this 80mm f2.8 CF today, and I can't recall if this is normal or not.
When the lens shoots, and has to stop down, at 2.8 it is not all the way wide open. The aperture blades close ever so slightly. I don't recall this being normal. Can someone confirm this for me?
This is the lens at F2.8 when I have the DOF lever on or when I shoot. I'm pretty sure the blades should be all the way open, right?

Hmm. I have the Planar 80/2.8 T* C, not CF, and on mine the aperture blades retract fully. But even when they're nudged slightly closed off the f/2.8 mark, they close in a perfectly round circle rather than with four edges showing like that ... So I don't know if it's a difference between the shutter/aperture mechanism on CF vs C.

Looks like it needs servicing - should not be able to see the shutter nor aperture blades if cocked and ready for mounting.

Yeah, that is exactly what I thought was going on. Alright, it is going back to the seller.
