Hasselblad Commercials and Ads

Not a commercial or an advertisement, Dave, but you may still find this 1967 interview with Victor Hasselblad to be of some interest. Personally I was fascinated by it.
Cheers,
Brett

Hi, Brett!

Thanks for that link, I missed it the first time around. Now I feel like I just experienced part of a lecture at university and the voids are now filled in some respects. Great video and I am mesmerized by the way things work out for some people in all walks of life.

I am especially appreciative that exactly 50 years later, I can remember, relate and understand the context in which this man lived his professional life... at least to some extent. The cool thing is... I can experience the man's vision and hard-earned fruits of his labor with every shutter release. It is quite an experience!:)

Welcome Dave. He was a very interesting man, in touch with nature from a young age and it seems despite his drive to make superb cameras, he never lost that appreciation for the natural environment. He and Erna were not blessed with children, but on their passing, they left a substantial legacy to kickstart the Hasselblad Foundation. A life well lived, I think.
Cheers
Brett
