Use the depth of field scale with the aperture and that is enough for 90% of the images you will take. But when wanting to have in and out of focus areas, get a rough idea from looking down and focusing, then apply the aperture onto the lens scale.......easy, I have been doing it with my Hasselblads for forty years. I HAVE NEVER TAKEN AN OUT OF FOCUS AREA IMAGE THAT I DID NOT WANT THAT WAY.
