Whenever I hear "SWC" I can only think of the stellar, original work of Shinya Arimoto. He does things with this camera you haven't seen before and does it really well. He is, in short, DA MAN.

I'm a fan of good street photography, and this guy's work is just a whole other level.

Thanks. It is a "bargain" if you take into account what a digital Leica costs.

I wish I could afford such a mega expense, Emile. The digital back costs a fortune, and it could be that my particular model is too old for a digital back.
Nice shots Raid, I always liked the SWC.
Re the digital back I too had them in the 'mega expense' category and therefore out of mind, but sometimes second hand ones come up at very reasonable prices. Don't discount the idea entirely

Thank you Fergus. There was something about the original (first) SWC model that prevented some accessories to be used on it. I must read up on it.

Raid,
It's great to finally see some photos from your SWC journey! It looks like it took you a while to get the hang of the extreme width, but you quickly got it firing on all cylinders!
I hope you do get to use it more and more, such a special camera.

I can see that this will be better with slower films and lots of outdoor light.

This is my main concern right now. Can I hand hold a SWC with ISO 400 film (during daytime) indoors or not?

I got a black/silver SWC with black T* lens. Not planning to use Polaroid backs so I think the old one would suffice.Congratulations. Which model did you get? The original SWC? All are great cameras.
