Hasselblad SWC is cool

Thank you, I have been looking at his website. I just got one off ebay, nothing serious, the shutter release sticks a little when depressed. What I can't figure out it how to use these shutter speeds to the left of B? This is a chrome lens model. Any thoughts?

edit: i think i see. it's just a guide to tell you what you should time with a watch if you are on those apertures, they aren't actual settings. Any thoughts on the sticky release? easy fix?

That sounds like it needs an overall CLA. I'd send it in to David and see what his evaluation shows up.

I want an SWC so bad. I have a Mamiya 6 and the stellar 50mm but it just isn't wide enough for me. I want square and i want it wider. If I could stick the M7 43mm on the M6, or even modify it to be done, I would at the drop of a hat.
...and a couple thousand dollars, probably.
So, the SWC is the better bet in the long run, I'm sure.

Hi, I noticed that in pictures and videos of the SWC sometimes the "at rest" point of the winder crank is up, and sometimes down. Mine is up (when extended). Any advantage to either way? Is it reversible?

If anyone’s interested, I flipped it and like it better that way. One small screw holds it in, very simple. Now the strap doesn’t pull on the crank.

Here's a few shots taken with a Super Wide C on rather expired Agfa Ultra 50. All from Kamakura, Japan.

I have been using it now for close to two years and have quickly become my all time favorit!

This camera has had a "bad rep" regarding digital backs.
But in my opinion it works briliant together with the CFV50C back from HB.
I have been using this combo now for 18 months and I have nothing to complain about!
