The best camera is one that still works!
I remember a discussion on this forum a long time ago where a few members admitted to having a camera under the pillow overnight ... the name Ash comes to mind! 😛

Sounds perfectly reasonable - an M3 would be heavy enough to club an intruder senseless, and sturdy enough to take his photo afterwards for evidence.

NO. Set up a tripod & put the camera on it. Have it stare at you.
