Finally getting around to some stuff I shot over the summer. FP4 in a hawkeye flash, flipped lens, some with the portrait diopter.

Great, I love this set up. I have the lens with the black plastic ring. I cut it down and I get way more depth of field.
Here are three from 3 feet, 6 feet, 9 feet. It now goes almost to infinity:

Those are excellent. I particularly like the low perspective water shots.
I'll be copying those, no doubt.

cjcarter: pretty cool! I've thought about doing that myself, but a) I like mine the way it is, and b) I'm not sure the bakelite can take any more disassembly (I've already stripped a screw or two). Next one I find I'm going to file the lens barrel to reset to hyperfocal or infinity for landscapes. I think mine is a later version than yours without the black plastic barrel. My barrel is clear plastic, molded in one piece with the lens. The flip changed the lens to film plane distance considerably.

I filed my lens too. It did require taking the film assembly on and off a few times (plus making a spacer). I also made a VHF flipped lens for my Pentax 6x7. It really works great (this is about 10 feet):
