I have been thinking about trying stand developing for t-max 100 mainly with 35mm for now... I have been thinking about using the following starting point and was wondering what other thought may be a better starting point?

Hc100 1:125 dilution
Initial 30 second agitation
Stand for 1 hour
10 second final agitation before developer disposal.

I have been developing my own b&w on and off since the late 60's, but have never tried any stand developing.

Thanks
Gary

I've been using about 4ml per 35mm film, prewashing tmax films 5min,then developer in the tank and 5 gentle agitations for a start, 3 gentle agitations at 30' and then at 60' puor out developer, stop with water for 60" and then 5' fix and photo-flo at the end and gives very nice results.

Thanks Jani. So if I understand correctly on your first point, if I have two rolls of film in a two roll tank, u are saying use 8ml of hc110.

Cheers

Well, i always used about 4ml PER 35mm film, for 2 films i used around 8ml and for 4 films i used about 15ml and the negs have been real nice. Some one is using 3ml per film and some one 5ml, you just have to try and make your own recipe. i have been using this same method also with 24exp Ilford FP4+ and it looks also good, but the LP400 did not look nice and 2 rolls of Fomapan 200 were a disaster. Try and error is the way.
