Doesn't look like an S2 to me: the side corners look too round and the rewind knob too tall from what I can see.

Looks like a Zorki 6 or maybe a Zorki 5
The lack of the opening back door lines and the type of leatherette leans more towards the Zorki 5

Good point. Didn't notice the rounded corners. In that case, what could it be? Lever wind, single vf/rf.....

Yes, it is a well known fact that he used an LTM version of the Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 in the early fifties.
