Hi all,
the current issue (no 33) of Zeiss' "Camera Lens News" http://www.zeiss.com/cln has an interesting article on distortion in lenses. This is the link to the full article as pdf:

At 28 pages this may be more than many of us ever cared to know about distortion 🙂 But it sure contains interesting information from the perspective of lens designers. Enjoy!
