Jim, your copy of the Hektor 7.3cm looks to be absolutely marvelous!
Very nice portrait of your friend!
Thank you! I purchased it from a fellow RFF'r and it has not disapointed me, I only wish I would use it more.

I shot this combo this week after a very long rest. Can't wait for the film to come back.

Why, oh, why did I have to discover this thread... :bang:

Not sure if these fall in the same category as the dreamlike lenses, but does anyone have experience with the Canon 135/4 and 85/1.5 or the Nikon 2/85?

Here is a thread about the Canon 85/1.5.

I think my Canon 85/1.5 (chrome) might have some focusing problems, but I have to look closer at it and perhaps send it to a CLA. (The DOF at 1 m and f/1.5 for a 85 mm lens is about +/- 6 mm)
Regarding the Hektor 73 mm I am still at my first roll.

Yeah, and most rangefinders really aren't accurate enough for that in terms of effective baselength. It can be really hit and miss. We are beyond Noctilux territory there in terms of the precision required.
