Heliopan CP Filter doesn't take lens cap?!?!

I have a circular polarizer from Heliopan. 52mm. Nice fllter BUT it is not compatible with a 52mm lens cap. I guess Heliopan REALY don't want you to leave the CPF on the lens for too long?

But seriously, is there any rationale for this?
 
Depends on the lens cap apparently... I have several Heliopan filters circular polarizer including and, of course, all accept a lens cap, both Heliopan own's and the lens' original (Pentax).
 
That must be some really extreme slim version because I standard slim versions I got all do have front thread.

It is no different in thickness from the Sigma DG Wide C-PL series, which is threaded, and is of equally high quality IMHO.
