i think its time i come clean.

surely i can't be the only one? right now, i have the perfect setup, m6 and 50mm summicron, both bought from members on this site. i don't need anything else. yet i find myself constantly drooling for an r-d1s, or a 35mm lens, or even a bessa r2a, for a backup. and then i consider selling all my nikon gear, and doing the math in my head, and overestimating the selling price, just to justify the purchase of an m8.

i can honestly say, that i've been doing this for not weeks, but months. but after every episode, and after getting my fix by browsing the classifieds, i calm down again, and remind myself, that i already have more than i need. a camera, lens, and a bunch of film. so then i go out and shoot. but that little addiction monster is still inside me, and i know it's only a matter of time before i get that itch again, and open the classifieds, just to see what's out there.

it's too frustrating sometimes, any really great deals are snatched up literally within seconds. so I'm constantly left in a state of "what-if" - what if I'd loaded up RFF 5 minutes earlier, what if I hadn't paused and (gasp) actually thought about whether I needed to buy that cheap 50mm as my 8th backup lens?

I've got every Nikon F body (minus the F2), 2 M's, 2 Nikon RFs, 5 Olympus bodies, plus lenses for each system... you bet I've got an addiction too.

oh yeah, I'm doing the internal M8 math too. Or maybe I just wait for the new Fuji.

I also am a classifieds addict. Although my GAS has been satiated for the time being (bought a 15mm Heliar and a ton of film recently), I always love seeing what people are putting up for sale. It's an itch I have to scratch, but thankfully I never have enough money to get the "What-ifs" Vossarian mentioned. To more window shopping!

I had the last few days off due to snow. I spent a lot of it with a browser open the background, hitting refresh here on a few ebay searches every now and then. Ended up buying a mint looking Contax T for $50. Wasn't specifically looking for one but it was on my 'want to try some time' list.

I'm more addicted to deals than this sites classifieds specifically.

I need to adhere to the 'if I buy a camera/lens, sell two cameras/lenses for a little while. Make me filter it down a bit as I'm still dealing with the excess amount of gear I picked up while looking for my ideal fixed lens rangefinder over the last year.

I have way more than I will ever use...but that doesn't stop me from looking...
I keep saying that all I really need now is more film...but then I see something that I'm pretty sure I really need...
My last purchase was a Weston Ranger 9 meter...I already have three other light meters that work properly but I've been wanting one of them for such a long time...

I'm torn on this one - I'll admit addiction to gear, and having more than I need, but the RFF classifieds? I've found a few things I was looking for - and would have picked up otherwise anyway - and whenever I sell here, I end up feeling like I sent something to a good home.

Anyone who's got an addiction to ONLY this classified section for their gear fix?
