Hi, my Canon P has shutter speed problem:
- Initial: 1/1000 is ok, 1/8 is fast and inconsistent, 1s is fast.
- Afterward: I adjusted the screw near the speed knob (below of the top plate) and the 1/8 speed seems to be ok. I then adjusted the closing shutter tension down, turning the screw on the slow speed assembly to make the 1s speed adjustment sound right. However, now 1/15 speed sounds almost 1/2 as long. Can someone help me with the adjustment?
Thanks you.

Did you clean the slow speed escapement, before adjusting it? There is a link to the service manual here: https://learncamerarepair.com/product.php?product=123&category=2&secondary=1

Thank you, I cleaned and lubricated the mechanical parts of the camera. I'm suspecting that I haven't reassembled the camera body cover so the 1/15 speed isn't working correctly?
