Maybe this is the right place to ask this. I have done a search and did not find what I wanted.

I want to try a Quantum light meter. Their website only talks about their current line and that's more than I want to invest. I look at KEH and other sites and they have several listed but I'd like your help in deciding which to choose. I don't shoot flash and a reflective reading is what I'm most used to. I do quite a bit of low light shooting, too.If you've had some experience or could point me to a web discussion, I'd appreciate your input as to which would be the best fit.

A third vote for the Calculight XP. As rover states, it reads down to -7EV at 100 ASA. An excellent little meter and occasionally available on eBay.

I have two Calcu Light X's. They're marked down to -9ev. When set to my personal Tri-X rating (about 1000 on the dial, but it works!), it reads down to 1 sec. at f/1.0 in incident mode or 1/8 sec. at f/1.2 in reflected. They're the meters I use almost all of the time.
