HELP! I can't rewind my Zorki!

I bought a Zorki 4K a while ago, but I haven't used it till tonight. I loaded it up with a roll and shot it all off. I started to rewind the film, but it won't rewind. I feel like if I twist it too hard it will simply tear the film at the sprockets. Is there some sort of trick to rewinding the film that I'm not seeing or is my camera busted? If I have to, I'm going to just unload the camera in a closet and put it on a development reel.

There's a release switch - the collar around the base of the shutter release buttn. Rotate it clockwise.

Remember to turn the collar counterclockwise when you want to load the next roll of film.
