I'm looking for the name of this point and shoot film camera. It looks to me to be from the mid-late 90s possibly an olympus? Any guesses would be much appreciated as I've been looking for it for years! (Apologies for the blurry image)

^^ my olympus infinity stylus is about the same size (my hands are small so im assuming the lady has similar size hands as me).

It has a distinct silver ring around the lens and I haven't been able to find anything that matches it. Closest visually so far has been olympus newpic zoom 90 but thats not it. I also don't believe it to be APS but all guesses are welcome. Thanks everyone

the brand name is under the flash.
could it be Nikon's ONE TOUCH-something?

Could just as well be OLYMPUS something, or Fuji SUPERZOOM something, or PENTAX ESPIO. The rounded age coincides with the APS age, and half the major makers had at least one rounded APS camera. Worse: The OEMs supplied just about every chain store house brand with something similar...

I don't know the camera pictured but that sure looks like Charlie Mancino, No.1 LadyBoy from Austin, TX. She took self portraits for a NYC fetish magazine "The Razor's Edge". That blouse is a dead giveaway. Only 12 limited issues were published non-periodically during the Kodak Disk and APS era. The magazine touted pictures from these two "modern" formats over an extended period. From what I recall the magazine picture quality was outstanding however the format was small. A search on my end turned up zero.

I wonder, where did the OP obtain the images posted as a montage ???

OK... let me ask you directly elvis777. Where did the montage image you posted originate ??? Why the interest in the name of this point and shoot camera ??? What is your fetish with this camera ???

What really strikes me as weird is Charlie Mancino was in a band called "Elvis Hitler" although under a different name. Quite possibly Jim Leedy from what I understand.

Im only replying to your nonsensical post so you leave it out. I really love this camera's lens quality. It has an almost disposable softness to all objects not in focus. I've followed this photographers (as seen in photo) work for some time now and would really like to find out what camera it is. THANKS EVERYONE WHOS CONTRIBUTED much appreciated!

care to share who "this photographers" is/are?
where can i find more of his/her/their images?

i love this kind of mysterious affairs.

Hasn't this taken an interesting turn? I love it when a camera-identification thread turns into a discussion about transexuals and 80's underground fetish magazines. Happens all the time. :D

Elvis777,

I will succumb to your request and fold like a cheap camera.
However, be aware that you take the further burden on this thread.

Under a vigilant eye,
George
