Hi everyone!

Having returned from a camping trip, I cannot identify a roll of 120 film where I lost the tape. Everything else I shot was slide film, but I was pretty sure this was Ilford Delta 100. Unfortunately, the spool doesn't match my new rolls of Delta 100 or Pan F 50.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Assuming you were using Fuji slide film, the end of the backing paper is white. (I'm assuming that this is an exposed film - I can't think of any films that start with black paper but someone may know different there.) The ends of Ilford films have black backing paper, so it looks very much like it's Ilford. This isn't supposed to be a condescending comment, so please don't interpret it as such but the spool, of course, will match the previous film that was in the camera and not the one that's now wound onto it.

Thanks, everyone, especially Mark!

Mark-

Of course. That was exactly the slap in the head I needed! Yes, the spool is from the previous roll. I just wasn't thinking.

One of my rolls of Fuji slides has the Ilford spool. I am confident this is Delta 100.

Thanks again!

Matt

Jeff- I think I'll try the Rodinal stand method, but not for this roll. I have some 1:1 D76 made up.
