Actually the story of how I purchased the camera tells a bit on the Nikon Black S2. I used to stay in Kansas City and an ardent fan of Leica and most classic cameras back in the non-digital days.
There is this mega Leicaphile who was the sound and lighting engineer of a theater in Kansas City, Missouri whom I know through my dealings with the Leica stuff. A retired optician in his area decided to liquidate his collection and he asked me whether I am interested in the Nikon RF stuff. I told him positively yes, and I thought he would bring me in to purchase together; he getting the Leica stuff and me getting the Nikon stuff. Instead, he bought the whole lot and called me up the following week and invited me down to view the collection at his place as he is not interested in the Nikon stuff. I was a little bit pissed but he's a camera trader after all.
To cut the story short, I ended up trading in 2 M bodies and 2 screwmount bodies with standard lenses for the Nikon Black S2 and Nikon S bodies with lenses. I still remembered the incident clearly because thats the first time I have close encounter with an Egyptian hairless cat at his place and for the first time in my life to see Leicas lining up wall to wall in a home.

Man, those hairless cats are creepy. My wife's grandmother was at a retirement home that had one. His name was "Caesar", and even though I like cats, I couldn't bring myself to pet that one.
He got sunburned when he went outside.

Yup yup thats the cat. Should find a good role in Stephen King's "Pet Sematary"
After 12 years, I am not sure whether he still remembers me.... but one thing I do know. He should be 48-52 years of age 12 years ago, and he's a bachelor who owns too many Leicas!
Think all of the tenants in that house outlived the cat
