Help--what is this photo imperfection?

I just got a roll back from the local Kodak shop and almost every frame has this weird light streak on the right side (regardless of sun's direction). Please see photo below. What the heck is it? I used a 35mm E lens on a Nikon FM2 w/ a hood

This looks like a light leak. If you were shooting color negative, white color of the blob indicates it was directed from emulsion side. Could be e.g. Copal shutter slowly/not completely closing.

Leaky shutter, perhaps?

First time to use this lens, but not camera. You might be right in suspecting developer/ developing process. If so, can it be fixed or is it permanent damage on negatives?

I'd have the shutter checked out. Looks like a shutter blade gone bad.
