Can anyone Help with removing top cover plate to service rangefinder on canon 2B? I cannot take off the shutter speed dial. It has one screw, I removed it but cannot take off the dial. It’s the only thing left keeping me

The shutter speed dial is usually put on tight. You may have to use a screwdriver, or something flat, to "pry" up on the dial as you lift it. It will come up, but you'll have to work it up and off.
