Help with GSN

I just replaced the POD in my GSN yesterday. I finally had a fully functional camera. I then decided to test out the hot shoe with a flash that was bundled with another gsn I got . After that all the lights in the camera ceased to work and when I try to fire the shutter with the battery in the shutter stays open until I advance the lever . The camera fires at 1/500 with no battery and I double checked the pad. I think I may have shorted something out... Any suggestions ?

Sorry to hear. Shutter stays open means something is now bad. The only solution I've found for a camera with electronic problems is Mark Hama. He has parts.
