Help with M6 black 0.85 price

I found someone here in Romania that want to sell an M6 Black 0.85. I don't need another camera. 🙂 But I might buy it if it is worth it as an investment. (cash is in danger here because we also have election for parliament = populist measures = inflation).
The guy don't want to sell it under 1000 Euro. The camera is mint.
Is it worth it? I can sell it later for a little margin. What do you think?

The price sounds fair. Some retailers advertise this model for more. But in a private sale, assuming that the viewfinder has not been upgraded, that price sounds good but by no means spectacular. It is not a steal. I would only buy the camera if you plan to use it. If you are looking for an investment, there are probably much better places to put your 1000 Euros.

EDIT: I should note that my comments are based on the market for these in North America. It may be that the 0.85x M6s sell for more in Europe.

It might depend on the word mint. We've all seen too many cameras/lenses that were advertsied as "mint" and proved to be far from that.

I've got a black M6 0.85x that I'm about to list for sale. I can't find a mark on it; if it were sitting in the original packaging, you'd swear it was new. I was planning to ask about 1000 Euros.

I think that's a fair price. But to be an "investment" (in many senses of that word), you'd need to pay well under a fair price.
