Here's a camera I haven't owned

Hi Wayne,
If you think using a Zenit Photosniper near an airport will get looks from John Law, try whipping out that baby in an airport terminal.

Drawing that would draw attention, wouldn't it! And I sure wouldn't want it confiscated, seeing that the auction closed at $62,701.60, some 2-3x the estimated price.

Now THAT's a conversations piece!!!! Looks more like a doorknob than a camera!

As for Walgreens selling film for it, I'm wondering what kind of film it even takes?!

One of those was featured in Black and White Photography recently. It doesn't take film as such, but a specially modified glass plate. The plate rotates so that you can actually take a number of shots before reloading. The way you focus is to lift the lens and focus it by looking through it. Then as you pull the trigger to take a photo, the lens dropps down into position and the shutter opens giving you the exposure. Very novel way of doing things.

But give me my Fotosnaipers any day.

Just when you think Photosniper is bad...

As soon as the buyer realizes how much he spent he's going to shoot himself in the head with it.

LOL
