Has anyone seen this...
I suspect I was on exposure 33 of 36+ and went to take a shot. The camera started with the blinking [33] thing. I looked to the 'net for reports of that code and found nothing. So, I dumped the battery and reinserted it. Instant rewind. Unfortunately, one cannot take pix with this camera unless it thinks it can make the exposure. So, I cannot advance to 34 to finish the roll. I just wish I knew why it happened. I did have a konica filter on it, but that had never been an issue.

Well-known
I've read that the lens can 'bump' into the back of a filter when focusing close up. It produces an error code but not sure which one. Was you close focusing when it did it? I have a Hexar AF and use two filters. I smashed the glass out of the poor quality one and put that on the camera first, followed by the proper filter. This way the one with no glass acted as a spacer so the lens couldn't bump the filter.

I was shooting, but at about 3-4 meters.
