I have finally reprogrammed my Hexar's ROM to enable a number of its hidden functions (see here for instructions), via D[FE]. Among other functions, this unlocks manual flash guide number setting, so I can use other flashes than the Konica HX-14 which I don't have.I still have a question regarding GN number selection:
When entering flash GNs, I obviously have to enter GN for meters, but do I have to select GNs depending on the currently set ISO/ASA value, or does the camera do all the math by itself, so that I can select the value for ISO100 (as standard) regardless of what ISO setting I'm actually going to use?
Thanks in advance for your help!

The GN is set for 100-ISO. The P-mode program calculates the correct exposure (aperture based on GN/distance) for other ISO values.
As an aside: a nice side effect of the GN update is that you can do flash exposure compensation in P-mode now by deliberately entering a higher (giving lower flash exposure) or lower (giving higher flash exposure) GN number.
