Hexar AF "M" Mode Confusion

Thanks for the link at photo.net. By the way, I went by the store that I thought had a New Hexar Silver. It is not new but used. The box and everything looks new, but the camera was actually a trade in for a Leica. Sorry if I misled anyone into hoping that there might still be new-in-box Hexar Silvers out there. But, we can always hope, can't we?

I have just reprogrammed my Hexar AF Silver acc with the instruction described by SleepyHead. It works just fine and silently! Thank you very much!
