Hexar AF pics: share the joy

anytime --- and the negatives stand out with the triangle cut --- it's a neat thing- -- the lens is as good as a 35 cron --- you'll enjoy it as much as i have ---

The lab ****ed up my negatives a bit...so I had to do a bit of photoshop cleaning up. Still happy with this one regardless.
(but now I need to find a new lab :[) This one was taken with the HX-14 flash and Fuji Superia 400 film.

Congratulations Helen!
You're going to love the images.
It's a perfect time of year to start with the AF.
Moody days and evenings of winter is were it really shines.
These little babies can focus in the dark (for real actually.... ir focus :) ).

Can I get Erwittness ?

Can I get Erwittness ?

i tried my friend's Rhodium one almost a year ago and i liked it. nice lens, nice size, nice results, but the buttons were not the best interface.
I'm sure it would have been like second nature if i spent more time with it though. :)

I bought mine from Andy (f16sunshine) Thanks again!! :D
Still using it nearly every single day!
Helen I think you'll love it so far the shutter speed hasn't been a problem for me.
I think it's similar to having 500 in an SLR because there's no mirror slap and the leaf shutter is really smooth.
Sometimes I'm surprised by how sharp my low light handheld shots come out.

I got myself a ND4 filter to pop over the front on those rare sunny days over here. So far I've put three films through the Hexar to help me get used to it and be able to use it quickly.

Quirky and with fiddly little buttons but no worse than many other cameras out there. The lens is superb and it makes a perfect 'take everywhere, worry about nothing' camera.

Now I just need to start pointing it towards something worthwhile....and to load up on HP5

Enjoy your Xmas present Helen!!!

In the spirit of the thread and the season ...

A mix up with Silverprint has left me with no fixer so I can't contribute yet. Hopefully I'll have some Hexar shots to share in the New Year.

Talking of which, Happy New Year to all you Hexar lovers!!
