for all of you Hexar Af users...how pocketable is this camera?

That depends on the size of your pockets. But wait, this response will become helpful. How pocketable do you find your Bessa R? I just did some measuring for you as I happen to have both cameras. Both are 5 1/2 inches long. The Hexar is just 1/8 of an inch less tall than the Bessa. The Hexar with its 35 mm lens is jsut 2 1/2 inches deep, while the Bessa with Industar 55 mm lens is over 3 inches. Pocketability is determined to the greatest extent by the depth of the camera as this is/can be the smallest dimension. You will find the Hexar to be more pocketable than your Bessa with Industar lens, but less pocketable than your Bessa with a collapsible Russian lens. A jacket is no problem. The cameras even weigh about the same.

thanx...that answers it perfectly...ive been looking into one for basically the same thing that it looks like you have been useing it for...essentially shooting concerts, or performances in general...i like what you have going with the coffee shop shots. they look great

Thanks, Chaser. The only thing about shooting performances with a Hexar AF is that you'll have to be able to get in close because of its non-interchangable 35mm lens. I am very fortunate that my local coffee house has a very intimate environment which allows for this.
