That depends on the size of your pockets. But wait, this response will become helpful. How pocketable do you find your Bessa R? I just did some measuring for you as I happen to have both cameras. Both are 5 1/2 inches long. The Hexar is just 1/8 of an inch less tall than the Bessa. The Hexar with its 35 mm lens is jsut 2 1/2 inches deep, while the Bessa with Industar 55 mm lens is over 3 inches. Pocketability is determined to the greatest extent by the depth of the camera as this is/can be the smallest dimension. You will find the Hexar to be more pocketable than your Bessa with Industar lens, but less pocketable than your Bessa with a collapsible Russian lens. A jacket is no problem. The cameras even weigh about the same.
